Pittsburgh Penguins winger Chris Kunitz did some light skating today before the Penguins practice and he talked today how he maybe back before the Olympic break.
Indications are Kunitz will begin practicing with the team this weekend and barring a setback he should be able to get a few games in before the break.
A source close to Kunitz told me on Tuesday that Kunitz is "progressing well and will be back in the lineup soon."
Three weeks ago from today, Kunitz had abdominal surgery conducted by Dr. William Meyers in Philadelphia.
Kunitz, 30, has 6 goals and 14 assists in 30 games played this season. Kunitz is signed through 2011-2012 and has a cap hit of $3.75 million.
