Kunitz out for at least two weeks

Head coach Dan Bylsma announced following the Penguins morning skate that winger Chris Kunitz will be sidelined for at least two weeks with what is being described as a lower body injury.

Kunitz will be replaced in the lineup by forward Mark Letestu who will center Eric Godard and Michael Rupp on the 4th line.

Letestu will make his NHL debut and is also expected to get some power play time.

*Evgeni Malkin will return to the lineup against the Bruins tonight. Malkin play wing on a line with Ruslan Fedotenko and Sidney Crosby.

*Jordan Staal centered Chris Bourque and Bill Guerin in the morning skate.

Penguins Lineup

Fedotenko - Crosby - Malkin

Bourque - Staal - Guerin

Cooke - Adams - Dupuis

Rupp - Letestu - Godard

*Marc Andre Fleury will start in goal

One gets healthy, one goes down. However, there is no reason to worry about the performance since this is half an AHL roster and when everyone or nearly everyone was healthy we played awesome.

rothey... I think that everything you say is dumb and pointless.... however this time I agree with you.... Sid played with a Legend and was schooled quickly by one of the games all time greatest! Mario may not have been his unreal self but he taught Sid how to be a better player! Sid has benefitted by learning from a legend.... which has helped in leading him to winning a cup faster then a lot of legends! Sid did it faster the Mario or Wayne and AS fast as Bobby Orr! That says a lot.

I will say that Sid as good as he is does NOT have Mario or Waynes ability to take a relative NOBODY and make him a star... maybe its the era but Sid really needs a talented winger.... give him a natural scorer and watch his stats sky rocket! I mean OV started to slow down til Backstrom arrived and we have seen Backstrom shut down without OV.... give Sid a marquee winger, not even a 100 point one but a 40+ g one and watch Sid look godly... the NHL is no longer built for no bodies to exceed like they could with Mario or Wayne.

Guerin has been less then competent this yr however he showed up when the team needed him the most tonite and that what counts.... as for Tenk... when given a specific role he seems to deliver... he has played well over the past couple games so to down talk him is silly! He may not have started the way we want but as long as he helps why hate on him! Besides he cost us nothing!
