*Head coach Dan Bylsma confirmed after practice that defenseman Zbynek Michalek will be sidelined for 4-to-6 weeks due to a broken finger.
*Evgeni Malkin looked strong in today's practice and will travel with the team to Long Island. Indications are we will are likely to see him in one of the next two games.
