Cam Heyward involved in a ‘hold-in’ believes he has all the power and wants paid again after agreeing to a three year extension last off-season.

For NFL defenders. let’s call it what it is……Heyward is ancient in NFL terms. As great as he was in 2024 and has put together a borderline hall-of-famer resume, the Steelers extended Heyward prior to the 2024 season going into his age 35 season when he was coming off a 2023 campaign where he appeared in just 11 games and had only 2 sacks. What they should do, though, is fire back to the 36 year old that he has a 1-8 career playoff record with just one sack and that right now just isn’t the time even if Heyward is scheduled to be the 23rd highest paid interior lineman.

Maybe the Steelers should take things a step further and entertain offers on Heyward. There are believed to be teams waiting to see if that longshot scenario happens in the coming weeks with the To read this insider news, subscribe to get “Inside Access”!
