Could the Minnesota Wild and the Pittsburgh Penguins strike a deal this weekend? The two sides have held talks over the past 24 hours regarding,

the rights of Ruslan Fedotenko.
Sources tell TIOPS that Fletcher initiated the talks according to a source and Shero told Fletcher he will get back to him.
Shero is meeting with Allan Walsh the agent for Ruslan Fedotenko this morning as the two sides have begun their first set of talks.
Fletcher has interest in Fedotenko, Rob Scuderi and Ben Lovejoy according to a source with knowledge of the situation but these talks have centered around Ruslan Fedotenko.
Michael Russo of the Star Tribune mentioned that the Penguins and Fedotenko are in talks about a two year deal but when I contacted Allan Walsh this afternoon, he said no truth to the rumor going around that the two sides were in negotiations about a two year deal worth $2.4 million per season.
