Trade Buzz: The Pittsburgh Penguins have acquired 25 year old defenseman Kaedan Korczak (6-3, 206) from the Vegas Golden Knights in-exchange for defenseman Parker Wotherspoon. Korczak is signed through the 2029-2030 season (4 years, $13 Million Contract) with a $3.25 million cap hit. It’s the second straight trade for the Penguins in a week for a depth player near that 25-year-old range who brings speed and mobility to the table as Pittsburgh in a self-examination of their season came out wanting to get bigger on the backend and quicker in a number of areas. The 2019 2nd-round pick (41st overall) appeared in 78 games with the Golden Knights in 2025-2026, totaling 3 goals and 13 assists.
