The Pittsburgh Steelers met with Miami Dolphins cornerback Chris Owens this week, per Adam Caplan. Owens appeared in 12 games with the Browns this season and one with the Miami Dolphins after being picked up by the Dolphins on waivers in December. Owens, 27, had 58 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 2013, including three pass breakups. Owens is a smallish corner at 5-foot-9, 180-pounds, but has 4.4 speed. He was drafted in the third round of the 2009 draft by the Atlanta Falcons. He made two starts for the Browns last season and has made 14 starts in his career. |
