If only he was PS eligible.
It aint happening – the Steelers reciever situation does not allow a gamble. The only way they sign Pryor is if h is healthy and NFL ready.
Pryor’s also a really good guy. Growing up in the Greensburg area and going to Hempfield I met him on many occasions. He gets a bad rap for what went down at Ohio State, but that’s not representative of the man himself. I’d love to see him as a Steeler. One I could actually root for.
Pryor does have elite athleticism. 4.38 40 at 6’4. That is Calvin Johnson territory.
Personally don’t understand why guys like him do not force teams to make them receivers. QB get the glory but it’s far easier to get paid as a receiver
Pryor should have listened to Wannstedt.
CC at 27 is too old to give up that much. I’d trade a 2. That’s it.
First and third is stupid expensive in football, not to mention they already traded a fifth and sixth this season.
I agree, but you’re getting a young, proven commodity. He may be the best SS in the NFL. Dominant safeties are very hard to come by these days. Kam can match up with any TE in the league and is a beast around the LOS. To be successful in sports, hell in life, you need to take some f’ing risks.
What makes you think this cap strapped team with poor cap management (see last few years and this year with restructures which will affect the upcoming seasons cap ( will be able to afford him???
Exactly. He’s still going to want to get paid, and there is no room for that.
I would rather Pryor at QB than Landry Jones. However, if he really had any promise at WR, the Browns would have kept him. I always thought he could put on 15-20 lbs and become a TE.
Also, Kam Chancellor is still holding out. I would offer a 1st and 3rd for him. He is exactly what this team is missing.
