Jarry Trade regarded as 50/50 in league circles? [hide] Pittsburgh and Tristan Jarry continue to be described as this: The Penguins brass still believes in Jarry but the view of Jarry is much different league-wide than it is from some in Pittsburgh. Teams believe he’s a guy that can get you to the playoffs and his contract is not viewed as negatively league wide as it might be in Pittsburgh. With the cap going to $90+ million next season, Jarry at $5 Million + isn’t scaring at least two possible suitors that are kicking the idea of acquiring Jarry around. What’s at play here is a trade scenario over the last week has come the Penguins way where they are and have to give serious thought in the sense ‘if we don’t jump at this now, will this option come our way again’? That’s what’s being weighed in Pittsburgh’s war room this week and one change this week is Jarry’s reps at Newport Sports that know everything that’s going on around the league are said to have gone into mode where they feel a trade has accelerated to 50/50.
