When the Steelers defense is going it’s usually because Lawrence Timmons is playing up to his ability and a force on the field. That’s exactly what we’ve seen coming out of the bye from the Steelers star linebacker.
After a slow start to the season, Timmons has 23 tackles and 1 interception in his last two games. He was a force on Sunday vs the Ravens with 17 tackles and 12 solo tackles.
As the Steelers prepare for the Oakland Raiders this week, it appears the Steelers star linebacker will be banged up a bit.
Mike Prisuta of DVE Radio and Steelers.com reports that Timmons has a cast on his left hand. Timmons confirmed to Prisuta that he has a small fracture but should be able to play. “I have a minor fracture. I can still play, still not gonna stop me from doing the things I want to do,” Timmons told Prisuta.
