Guerin’s camp still in wait and see mode

Many including my self didn’t imagine Bill Guerin possibly losing a roster spot with the Penguins due to a pursuit of a 3rd or 4th line center.
As things stand right now, that appears to be the case.
The 39 year old winger future with the team remains very much up in the air. The Penguins expressed an interest in signing Guerin before July 1, but Guerin never showed an interest in signing for a salary under $1 million.
The move may come to backfire on Guerin.
Although some word has been leaking that there are other suitors for Guerin, the Penguins I’m told aren’t buying it. At this point, they don’t believe there is another legitimate suitor, a reason the Penguins are taking their time to explore their options.
