The Pittsburgh Penguins skated at the home of the 2009 NCAA national champion Boston University Terriers this morning as the Penguins prepare for Tuesday night’s game against the Boston Bruins.
Evgeni Malkin went through his second full practice since being sidelined with a strained shoulder. Malkin wore a red jersey and has been ruled out for tomorrow night’s game.
Malkin will be evaluated Wednesday morning and is expected to be cleared for contact on Wednesday.
*Max Talbot also practiced and like Malkin is still wearing a red jersey (no contact).
Tyler Kennedy’s (groin) status is up in the air for Tuesday’s game. Kennedy did some light work today but his status for tomorrow will be a coaches decision I’m told.
The team may want to hold him out another game.
Update on Kris Letang
The latest on Kris Letang is that he under-went an

MRI this morning around 10:00 a.m.. That’s all I’ve been able to gather to this point. The Penguins won’t have any info on Letang until this afternoon and a statement from the team is not expected today.
Defenseman Deryk Engelland has been told that he will make his NHL debut on Tuesday.
Team President David Morehouse has heart attack
Team President David Morehouse Penguins had a heart attack Sunday morning, just before the team about to board a plane from San Jose to Boston.
