The [hide] Pittsburgh Penguins have re-signed goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic to a two-year contract worth $5 million. The deal carries an AAV of $2.5 Million. Nedeljkovic, 28, appeared in 38 games for the Penguins this past season and went 18-7-7 with a 2.97 goals-against average, .902 save percentage and one shutout. Nedeljkovic supplanted Tristan Jarry as the #1 to end the 2023-2024, though, the team internally this off-season had continued to view Jarry as their consensus #1. Barring a trade of Jarry, the team will have almost $8 million in cap space tied into the tandem of Jarry-Nedeljkovic next season. [/hide]
