The Pittsburgh Penguins have traded Tyler Kennedy to the San Jose Sharks for a second round pick, the teams announced. The Penguins acquire the 50th overall selection in the draft and now have seven picks.
In addition to now having the 50th overall selection in the draft, Pittsburgh has picks 77 and 89th overall in the third round. The Penguins pick once in the fourth round (119th overall), twice in the sixth round (164th, 179th) and once in the seventh round (209th overall).
Don’t be surprised if one of the Penguins first three picks is moved for a roster player.
