Penn State moves up to #3 in the A.P. Top 25
The Penn State Nittany Lions did what national title contenders are suppose to do. They dominated Wisconsin Saturday night in all facets of the game. Daryl Clark is not only resembling Michael Robinson on the field but he‚Äôs showing Robinson’s leadership off the field. Clark has jump started the Lions offense from day one and through seven games they rank among the nation‚Äôs best. The Lions have won by an average of 34.3 points and rank among the top 10 nationally in at least six major statistical categories.
Coming into the season no one would have predicted Penn State’s offense to be as explosive as they’ve been. Against Wisconsin, Penn State was able to control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Evan Royster is having a phenomenal year with nine touchdowns in seven games. Penn State’s offensive line has dominated in the trenches and Clark’s ability to make plays out of the pocket is playing to the strength of Penn State’s dynamic wide receivers. The 7-0 Nittany Lions face Michigan next week before their shown on the 25th with the Ohio State Buckeyes.
