Dave Wannstedt and the Pitt football program have received their 4th commitment for the 2010 season as defensive end T.J. Clemmings (Paterson Catholic High School, NJ) has verbally committed to the University of Pittsburgh.
Clemmings (6-5, 255lbs) is PITT’s biggest recruit of the year.
Clemmings is among the most
athletic defensive ends of the 2010 recruiting pool and was regarded as a division one basketball recruit.
Clemmings posted 20 tackles for loss and seven sacks during his junior season.
He was holding offers from Maryland and Notre Dame. As of last week it was speculated that Clemmings was leaning towards Maryland.
