Cam Heyward entering the final year of a four-year, $64 million extension he signed in September 2020, will be skipping OTA’s due to the desire of seeking a new contract, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported Wednesday. Heyward, 35, is scheduled to make $16 million in 2024, carrying a $22 million cap hit. Heyward and his camp are seeking a three-year extension, essentially two years in new money to be added to his current deal.
