ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Chicago Bears “recently” called the Pittsburgh Steelers to see if they would be allowed to talk to and potentially try to trade for Tomlin. Schefter reports discussions never made it to Tomlin nor would the Bears had been successful even if the Steelers gave Tomlin permission. Chicago, though, was not alone.
