Penguins captain Sidney Crosby is scheduled to have arthroscopic surgery on his right wrist this week, the Post-Gazette reports. The injury bothered Crosby during the playoffs and Crosby has opted for surgery after therapy failed to correct the problem, according to the report.
Crosby is not expected to miss anytime for the start of the NHL season.
Crosby had 1 goal and 9 points in 13 post-season games.
