Bryant McFadden visited the Arizona Cardinals today but since Friday, the Detroit Lions, New York Jets, and Denver Broncos have all dropped out of the McFadden sweepstakes.

The Pittsburgh Steelers want Bryant McFadden back and they have increased their offer according to sources. The Steelers are believed to have made a $5 year offer worth $5 – $5.3 million annually. My source tells me the guaranteed money is a significant increase from their previous offer which was only $7.5 million guaranteed.
McFadden visited the Cardinals today. There has been leaks that an offer was made. The Detroit Lions are out. Jets were never a serious suitor and neither was the Denver Broncos.
Tampa Bay and New England have eached checked in with McFadden. Both teams are also in on cornerback Leigh Bodden.
The sleeper heading into free agency has been the Miami Dolphins. It’s believed that the Dolphins have been McFadden’s preference ( return to Florida)¬†and Rosenhaus was expecting a major offer from them. The Dolphins secondary has taking some hits in free agency but So far no offer has been made and no visits were planned as of this evening, a Dolphins beat writer from the Miami Herald told Inside Pittsburgh Sports.
Three days into free agency surprisingly the Steelers remain in on Bryant McFadden. Bringing him back will mean a veteran will be moved to clear salary but it appears the Steelers are willing to do that if they can get McFadden signed. —Staff —
