Steelers officially place franchise tag on Le’Veon Bell

The Pittsburgh Steelers officially placed the franchise tag on Le’Veon Bell today. The deadline for the Steelers to workout a long-term contract is July 15.

The projected tag for the franchise player designation is $12.8 million.
