Rumors: Steelers all-in on Mason Rudolph?

In a flooded QB market where there’s going to be more QB’s available than No. 1 jobs available, someone looks primed to fall through the cracks of being a great bargain as a No. 2.

With Ben Roethlisberger coming back from a major injury at age 38, will the Steelers really turn their back to QB market in March?

The messaging that continues to come out of Steelers’ headquarters is to bank the same QB room coming back. Team owner Art Rooney II being the latest to double down that the organization is comfortable with the current group of QB’s.

We’ll be looking for opportunities if we can to add a player we think can help us, whether it’s a wide receiver or running back,” Rooney said via Steelers.comSteelers.com this week. “I am not sure about quarterback, whether we’ll have an opportunity to sign anybody. I think we are pretty comfortable with the people we have on the roster right now in terms of Ben and Mason Rudolph and I think we will have Duck and Paxton Lynch participating and competing in camp and things like that this year.
