Defenseman Mark Eaton was a late scratch this morning. He did not participate in the morning skate and could miss tonight’s game. The Penguins have recalled defenseman Chris Lee.
Lee, 29 leads all WBS blueliners with seven points through 15 games. Lee did not participate in the morning skate and is on his way to Ottawa.
Forward Max Talbot will make his season debut tonight but he won’t be re-united on a line with Evgeni Malkin.
Dan Bylsma will keep his top unit of Ruslan Fedotenko – Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin together. Pascal Dupuis will move up to the second line with Jordan Staal and Bill Guerin.
Sergie Gonchar will return to the lineup tonight after missing 12 games with a broken wrist.
