Day 1: Team Canada Orientation Camp
Talking about playing with two perfect wingers.
Pittsburgh Penguins star center Sidney Crosby centered Flames winger Jarome Iginla and Blue Jackets winger Rick Nash on day 1 of Team Canada’s orientation camp.
Nash had a 40 goal season for the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2008-2009 and Iginla had 35 goals – 54 assists for 89 points last season.
Iginla is the top right winger in hockey and a perfect complement to Crosby.
Nash at 6-4, 220 lbs, provides size, speed and goal scoring ability on Crosby’s wing.
Crosby looking to switch numbers?
Is Sidney Crosby looking to pull a Kobe Bryant and switch jersey numbers? Not going to happen but Crosby is switching things up at Canada’s camp, wearing #37. According to Darren Dreger, it looks odd.
