  • Evgeni Malkin dealing with what is believed to be a knee issue (not considered long-term) is expected to sit out the Penguins next three to four games and his availability for next week’s Western swing remains unknown. Malkin will certainly not play in the next three games (1/27 vs WPG, 1/28 @ WAS, 1/30 @ NJD). The Penguins don’t anticipating Malkin skating until later in the week at the earliest.
