Update: 7:14 p.m. – As expected Philippe Boucher is the odd man out tonight. Therrien did decide to go with seven defensemen again but this time Kris Letang started the game on wing.
Pregame update 6:38 p.m. Manny Fernandez (12-2 2.02 GAA) will start in goal for the Bruins.
From earlier
The Penguins are 7-10-1 in their last 18 games and face off against the Boston Bruins tonight for the second consecutive game. The Penguins will go with the same lineup tonight that took the ice Tuesday night. Expect a lot of line juggling. Eric Godard remains bothered with a knee injury but did participate in today’s morning skate. Godard and Goligoski alternated in the morning skate. Kris Letang went through a full practice on Wednesday and Letang will play tonight.

Dany Sabourin will start in net.
Lineupnews: Michel Therrien has made a few changes since yesterday’s practice. Kris Letang skated again this morning and will play. Godard also participated in the teams morning skate. Therrien said after the morning skate that Godard will be a game time decision. Goligoski will play wing if Godard can’t go.
Now the Penguins have eight healthy defensemen. Michel Therrien did not say who will be scratched with Letang returning to the lineup but a source tells me if Therrien goes by the rotation in the morning skate, then Boucher will be scratched.
Petr Sykora and Ryan Whitney were named alternate captains.
