The Pittsburgh Steelers have reached a deal with their top priority, agreeing to a four year deal with cornerback Ike Taylor.
Terms are not yet available.
Taylor and Steelers were permitted to start negotiating at 10:00 a.m. this morning. Talks between the Steelers and Taylor began early today and intensified this evening with Taylor now set to return for his 9th season with the Steelers.
He can’t officially sign his new deal until Friday and won’t be able to participate in practices until August 4th, per CBA rules.
Taylor, 31, according to a league source, was determined to return to Pittsburgh and “left more money out there”.
