16 straight for Blue Jackets

Blue Jackets 3 – Oilers 1: The Columbus Blue Jackets are one win away from tying the 1992-1993 Pittsburgh Penguins for the longest winning streak in NHL history.

Sergei Bobrovsky won his 14th straight, while Cam Atkinson, William Karlsson and Nick Foligno all scored as the Blue Jackets ran their winning streak to 16 with a 3-1 win over the Oilers.

The Jackets will go for history Thursday night in Washington.

Columbus leads the NHL with 58 points.
