The Arizona Coyotes have made a multi-year offer to Penguins assistant coach Rick Tocchet that will pay him upwards of $2 million per season to be the Coyotes next head coach, a source close to Tocchet confirms.
Tocchet is mulling over the offer and considered “likely” to accept per a source.
Tocchet emerging as a front runner to become the Coyotes new head coach was first reported by Darren Dreger of TSN.
