The Pittsburgh Penguins (3-3-0, 6 pts) surrendered a two goal lead in the third period but prevailed in overtime on an Evgeni Malkin power play goal, 1:21 into overtime, defeating the Florida Panthers 3-2 on Tuesday night.

Sidney Crosby (1), Phil Kessel (2) also scored in the win. Crosby scoring his first goal of the season on the power play at 11:00 of the first period, had a three point night with a goal, two assists. Crosby led all skaters with 9 shots on goal, including 14 attempts.

Marc Andre Fleury made 31 saves to improve to 3-3-0 on the season.
