Matt Murray stops 24 of 25 shots as North America beats Finalnd 4-1

North America 4 – Finland 1

Led by goals from Jack Eichel, Johnny Gaudreau, Jonathan Drouin and Nathan MacKinnon, Team North America rolled to a 4-1 win over Finland on Sunday night.

The fastest team in the tournament overwhelmed Finland in all three zones, out-shooting Finland 43-25.

Goaltender Matt Murray stopped 24 of 25 shots. Murray was tested in the first period in stopping all 12 shots he faced, including a breakaway save. From the second period on, it was a pretty easy night for Murray.

In the second period North America took over the game, scoring three times and out-shooting Finland in the period 18-6.

North America faces Russia on Monday.
