Penguins deliver a thumping in Stanley Cup Final Rematch

The Pittsburgh Penguins (8-2-2, 18 pts) blanked the San Jose Sharks 5-0 on Saturday night in a Stanley Cup Final rematch.

Sidney Crosby scored 2 goals giving him an NHL leading 8 goals in six games and Matt Murray posted a 32 save shutout. Carl Hagelin added 3 assists as the Penguins took seven out of a possible eight points on their four game road trip

Dating back to the Penguins 3-2 win over the Sharks last month, Pittsburgh has outscored San Jose 8-0 in the past four periods the team’s have played each other.
