The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Kevin Porter and assigned Oskar Sundqvist to Wilkes Barre/Scranton today. Porter is on the opening road trip as the Penguins 13th forward. He scored 14 goals with Colorado in 2010-2011.

Defenseman Olli Maatta has also been “officially” recalled from Wilkes Barre/Scranton after being sent down in a paper move due to cap reasons. Maatta never reported to Wilkes Barre and has been with the team in Dallas.
