Winger Rick Nash officially announced his retirement today.

Nash dealing with lingering concussion issues, finishes his career with 437 goals and 368 assists for 805 points in 1060 NHL games. Nash turned down lucrative offers this summer, including a 3 year deal worth over $16 million from the Vegas Golden Knights.

Contenders continued to monitor the Nash situation throughout this season, including the Penguins who checked in again last month. If Nash decided to play this season, it would have been with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
