The Steelers have one hell of a backup QB. Entering the game in the first quarter due to an ankle injury to Landry Jones, Ben Roethlisberger was sensational in leading the Steelers to a 30-9 win over the Cleveland Browns. He also set an NFL record in throwing for the most yards for a QB in a relief appearance.

Roethlisberger completed 22 of 33 passes for 379 yards with 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. Roethlisberger had 286 passing yards in the first half against the Browns as the Steelers passing game torched the Browns secondary.

“I kind of surprised myself,” Roethlisberger said afterwards. “My foot was basically black and blue early in the week.”
