Defenseman Pierre Olivier-Joseph, acquired in the Phil Kessel trade, will start the season the taxi squad, but was a player who made some serious noise in camp and caught the eye of Penguin management.
“[Player] way ahead of his development is [Pierre] Olivier-Joseph,” Penguins GM Jim Rutherford said today on 937 The Fan. “He’s probably ready to play now.”
