Former Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden has expressed a strong interest in signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers and a deal between the two sides could happen tonight.
With as many as 12 teams interested in Haden, Pittsburgh has landed the first meeting with Haden this evening in Charlotte.
Will Haden’s visit be the only one he takes? The Steelers have emerged as the favorite to sign Haden, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.
Why Pittsburgh?
Haden, according to a league source, wants to join a contender and has wanted to play for Mike Tomlin for years.
Looks like he signed already.
He’s not what he used to be, but even still is a huge upgrade to Crockwell and can thrive across from Burns if he takes his next step.
