Steelers No. 25 overall selection coveted in trade talks

The backend of the first round, notably picks 25-30 are highly coveted from teams looking to trade back into the first round to nab one of the second tier QB’s Paxton Lynch of Memphis, Connor Cook of Michigan State and Christian Hackenberg of Penn State.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports the Browns and Cowboys are among the teams looking to trade back into the late first round for Paxton Lynch.

The value of the Steelers No. 25 pick on NFL trade charts teams use is 720. Value of the Browns 32nd overall pick is 590, Cowboys 34th overall pick comes in at 560. If Steelers moved back to the front of the second round, they’d gain another mid-round pick.
