Has Pekka Rinne developed Sergei Bobrovskyitis when he faces the Penguins?

Allowing 4 goals on 25 shot in Game 2, Rinne has now surrendered 8 goals on 36 shots through two games.

Rinne has a Pittsburgh problem.

He’s now 1-9 all-time vs the Penguins with a save percentage below .825.

Even before the Penguins erupting with 3 goals in the first 3:28 of the third period, Rinne never looked right and was again fighting the puck.

“Pekka’s been terrific through these entire playoffs,” said Peter Laviolette after Game 2. “I think there’s things that we can do better. All three goals in the third period, we could’ve done something better. I believe all of them were odd-man rushes.”
