Penguins top prospect Matthew Murray has been recalled from Wilkes Barre/Scranton. The team has also recalled forwards Conor Sheary (6G-19A-25Pts) and Kevin Porter (5G-4A-9Pts) as Kris Letang and Beau Bennett have been officially placed on injured reserve. Sheary’s 19 assists are tied for the AHL lead.

Murray, 21, has emerged as one of the best goaltending prospects in hockey. He has complied a 12-4 record with a 1.84 GAA, .938 save percentage and four shutouts in 17 games this season. Murray has 16 shutouts in 67 career AHL games.
