Long snapper Greg Warren and wide receiver Limas Sweed will miss the remainder of the season, the Steelers announced this evening.
Warren, a fifth-year pro, has been placed on the Reserve/Injured list with a right knee injury after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) on the final play of Sundays game against the Green Bay Packers.
Second-year wide receiver Sweed has been placed on the Reserve/Non-Football Illness list. Sweed ends the 2009 campaign with 1 reception for 5 yards as the Steelers 2008 2nd rouund pick was unable to beat out Mike Wallace for the No.3 receiver spot this season.

Two free agent wide receivers have drawn interest from the Steelers.
The Steelers did hold discussions with veteran wide receiver Ashley Lelie today. Lelie a 9 year veteran worked out for the Steelers in the off-season.
The team has also reached out to Shaun McDonald who was released in week 12.
