Former first round pick Brad Lincoln has been optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis. Lincoln was under some consideration for a long reliever role but struggled in spring training. He was sent down along with Daniel McCutchen today. Lincoln posted an 11.25 ERA in 8 innings pitched.  Daniel Moskos, Chris Leroux, and Jared Hughes are battling for the final one or two bullpen spots. Of the three, Moskos, the Pirates first round pick in 2007, has been the most effective, with a 1.13 ERA in 8 innings pitched. Leroux who is out of options, has struggled in spring training, posting an 8.68 era.
