— In his fifth rehab game, Jose Tabata (.412) had a big night, going 3-for-4, with 1 RBI, 2 doubles and 2 runs scored in the Indians 8-1 win. Tabata started in right field and is hitting .412 in five rehab games.
Josh Harrison (.311) extended his hitting streak to nine games, hitting a solo home run in the 6th inning. Harrison went 1-for-5 in the win and is hitting .311 on the season.
Matt Hague (.317 – 11 HR – 65 RBI) hit his 11th homer of the season with a 2-run shot in the 7th. Hague was 1-for-4 in the game, extending his hitting streak to 7 games.

— Gorky’s Hernandez (.288), John Bowker (.300) and Jeff Clement (.360) each had two hits. Bowker drove in RBI No. 64 with an RBI double.
— Starter Aaron Thompson (1-0), received the win, allowing 5 hits and 1 run in 3 2/3 innings. Chris Leroux, Tony Watson and Justin Thompson combined for 5 1/3 shutout innings.
