Morton expected to get another opportunity with the Big Club

Despite a disastrous season at the major league level, the Pirates management team wants to give Charlie Morton another look before the end of the season.
Morton is believed to be next in line for a callup after a strong pitching performance Monday night.
Morton (6.0 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 SO) was brilliant Monday night against Louisville as he allowed just four base runners, while striking out four over six scoreless innings of work.
Morton is 4-4 with a 3.83 ERA in 13 starts with Indianapolis.
Pirates starter Ross Ohlendorf is expected to be placed on the DL this week.
