Insider Only Morris receives a no decision in another impressive start

Pitching prospect Bryan Morris the Pirates last hope in the Jason Bay trade continues to make great strides as Morris (2-1, 2.14) pitched a Double-A-high 6.0 innings Saturday night in his fourth start since his promotion from Bradenton.

Morris allowed just one run on two hits, a fourth inning solo home run to Shawn Bowman. Morris also struck out four batters and walked one.
Morris received a no decision as Altoona lost 5-3 to New Hampshire.
Coming into Saturday’s start, Morris was a combined (Bradenton, Altoona) 5-1 with a 1.10 ERA.
