Insider Only Neil Walker to make $8 million in 2015


  • Neil Walker who ranked among the five best second basemen in baseball last season, lost his arbitration case to the Pirates and will make $8 million in 2015, after making $5.75 million in 2014. Walker had asked for $9 million. In 2014, Walker batted .271 with 23 home runs and 76 RBIs in 137 games. The Pirates have opened preliminary contract talks with Walker on a long-term contract.
