marc andre fleury 2222 PENGUINS WILL PUSH FOR 3-4 YEAR DEAL FOR FLEURY
Will Marc Andre Fleury have a new extension before the new year?
An organization decision has been made this week to push forward in talks and the Penguins brass and Fleury’s agent Allan Walsh are expected to hold their first set of substantive contract talks next month in Pittsburgh. Both sides have expressed a strong interest in reaching a new deal.

Fleury, or at least his agent does, eyes a deal of at least six years but will the Penguins netminder have to settle for a three to four year deal?
The Penguins are willing to match or exceed Marc Andre Fleury’s current salary this season of $5.75 million, but only on a shorter term deal.
Initial talks from the Penguins end are expected to center around a three year deal worth around $6 million per season.
Any new extension for Fleury will be met with criticism from all circles.
