  • Pascal Dupuis left the ice on a stretcher in the second period of Thursday’s 3-2 loss to the Dallas Stars. Dupuis was cross-checked in front of the net by former Penguins defenseman Alex Goligoski and than hit in the back of his lower neck by a Kris Letang shot from the point while he was down. Dupuis remained on his knees in discomfort and than was tended to by doctors while laying on the ice. Dupuis gave a thumbs up when he left the ice on a stretcher. The scary part for Dupuis is he had numbness in his arm but the feeling was coming back, head coach Mike Johnston said after the game. Dupuis is currently in a Pittsburgh hospital undergoing further tests.
