the entire signing was about throwing sid’s buddy some cash after he went bankrupt. it was actually a nice jesture by the pens to bail out johnson and get him some cash considering how many millions they’ve made off of sid.
It was more about the fact that GMJR actually drafted him and he has a hardon for bringing back old players.
Who would have thought that signing JJ to a 5 yr deal would end up being a disaster?
The way GMJR is going he will bring JJ back next season.
