The Pittsburgh Penguins have been informed that they are officially out of the mix for winger Zach Parise, a league source confirms the news first reported by Dave Molinari of PG. Parise is expected to sign with the Minnesota Wild or New Jersey Devils.
Ryan Suter has agreed to terms with the Minnesota Wild and Parise is fully expected to follow.
Updated 12:20 pm – The Minnesota Wild have pulled it off signing Zach Parise and Ryan Suter to 13 year deals. Both deals are worth $98 million, less than many thought the Wild were offering.
